4A Allocations from WCD III to STATE meet: 4 teams, 19 individuals, 7 All-Arounds.

NO HELIUM BALLOONS INSIDE THE GYM. LOOSE BALLOONS WILL SET OFF THE FIRE AND SMOKE ALARMS.

The gym will open at 12:45 PM for stretching and tumbling on the warm-up equipment and last until 1:30 PM. The coaches meeting is scheduled for 1:00 PM. The first warm-up rotation will run from 1:30-1:50 PM. March in will be at 2:00 PM. After introductions, teams go directly to their events or to the warm-up gym.

Adults & Students w/o ASB: $8.00
Jr. & Sr. High students w/ASB, Seniors Citizens: $5.00

4A NPSL AWARDS to Follow Session 2

WARM-UPS

The gym will open at 12:45 PM for the second session for stretching and tumbling on the competition floor. These are the only times the competition floor will be available other than the warm-up prior to competition.

The first warm-up session will run from 8:15-9:00 AM. Timed Warm up begins at 9:00. March in will be at 9:30 AM. After introductions, teams go directly to their events or to the warm-up gym. The second and third sessions will follow the same format at the times listed on the rotation schedule.

Besides the pre-session warm-ups, the only time the competition equipment will be available for warm-up is during the timed warm-up period, prior to competition. This one-touch warm-up will consist of one (1) vault per gymnast, three (3) minutes per team on bars, one (1) minute per gymnast on floor and thirty (30) seconds per gymnast on beam. (The floor and balance beam will follow the Capital Cup format).

Senior Citizens & Elementary $2.00

  • Only competing gymnasts in uniform, entering with team prior to their meet, will be admitted free entrance. Gymnasts will be expected to pay if not participating in meet.
  • No participant passes will be issued—Inform gymnasts they are to enter in one group with a coach supervising. As per WIAA guidelines, a maximum of sixteen (16) team personnel will be admitted—to include a maximum of twelve (12) gymnasts and four (4) other designated team personnel (coaches, managers, statisticians, medical, etc.). ONLY COMPETING GYMNASTS WILL BE ALLOWED FREE ENTRY. Gymnasts and team personnel will be hand-stamped to allow re-entry throughout the meet.
  • Press passes will be accepted with proper identification.
  • NPSL/SPSL passes will be accepted.
  • Cheerleaders and song leaders of participating schools will be admitted free, only if in uniform.

AWARDS

Each league will provide individual awards (ribbons) for 1st-8th places.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be available for purchase for spectators and gymnasts. A hospitality room for coaches will be available but not stocked. What you bring is what you may eat or drink.

SOUVENIERS

There will be T-shirts available at the meet for athletes and fans to purchase.

Clean Up & Banquet & Tx to KM

We will be cleaning up on Wednesday February 7th 2:30-4:30pm(or sooner if we clean up quickly) after a short practice. We need each gymnast present to help clean up, even if you do not continue on to post season you are expected to help put equipment away. Do not plan on leaving practice early that day. You will need to stay at Kentlake and help clean up until all equipment is put back in all of the storage sheds.

Please ask your parent if they can come and help. I know that this is not the most convienet time as most parents work. We will also be reaching out to the wrestling team to see if they are available to help.

Our banquet will a potluck that evening in the commons at Kentlake at 5:30pm. You may not attend the banquet if you were not part of the equipment clean up. Families are invited. Varstity and JV letters will be given out at that time as well as coaches awards and team awards.

After the Kentlake gymnstics eqipment has been put away we will need to practice at Kent Meridian High School. Only the district and state qualifying gymnasts will be neededing transportation and we will have rider/driver forms coming home the week of 01/16 to accomidate.
We will only practice at KM for two days 02/08 and 02/09.
Once we know which athlets make it to state we will determine the remainder of the practice locations/schedule for the remaining 4 days of practice.

The final months of the season are upon us. The calendar has been updated to reflect adjustments to practice times and the final clean up day. Please print a new version so you are aware of any changes.

We will have team and individual pictures Monday January 22nd. Picture packets will be sent home this week AND they are attached in the file above. These will take place during practice all gymnasts must bring their leo's and money the day of photos~

Meet transportation and start times

Reminder there is no bus transportation to and from meets, with the exception of Federal Way. Please arrange transportation to and from the meets. Gymnasts must arrive no later than 4:30 at each meet.
